When I look at other people’s art
Expectation:
‘Oh this picture is fantastic!! I love it! I think if I keep working hard, I can be just as good as them one day! I think I’m inspired now. Time to do some practice sketches and focus on my style.’
Reality:
‘Oh man they are so good fuck I will never be that good and OH MY GOD THEY’RE YOUNGER THAN ME why do I even bother posting my art I don’t go to art school and I will never get any better just let me cry’THE GPOY TO END ALL GPOYS

I’ve blogged this before but I think it’s something that bears remembering in the face of crushingly good art. At times you’ll think your stuff is rubbish. Possibly, it is rubbish. But it’ll never not be rubbish if all you do is sit around and complain about it.
So keep at it guys, love y’all.
